The training is specifically targeted towards woodland owners, agents and contractors. The aim would be for participants to be able to identify likely habitats for the key species. Also undertake work to ensure compliance with good practice, therefore avoiding the need for any EPS licences.
Training will involve presentations in the morning session, to remind attendees of the basics of legislation and habitat requirements of the individual species. The afternoon session will be based outdoors and will be an interactive session.
Car park fees may apply at some venues, car parks open from 8.30am. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. This is a full one day course.
